SUMMARY:Kitsap Youth Rally for Human Rights
DESCRIPTION:The Kitsap Youth Rally for Human Rights is on Tuesday\, March 25\, 2025\, at Olympic College\, Bremerton Campus. This year’s school host is South Kitsap High School. The theme chosen by the SKHS youth planning committee is “Face to face\, take off the mask.”  Over 300 high school students and adult leaders will attend. \nWhat’s a Youth Rally? It’s a gathering of students from all over the Kitsap Peninsula\, with music and student-led workshops about social justice and human rights. The Rally is sponsored by Kitsap Safe Schools Network and West Sound Academy. \nWhat is the schedule for the Rally? On-site check-in of pre-registered student groups starts at 8 AM in the Bremer Student Center at Olympic College\, the programming starts at 8:50 AM (with three breakout sessions – and snacks)\, and the rally is over at 1:20 PM. DESCRIPTION:KB Competition #3 (State Tournament Qualifier) for Olympic ESD 114 takes place at Fort Worden Historical State Park in Port Townsend. \n(Kitsap County) Knowledge Bowl team members:    Arrive at WSA by 7:45 a.m. We will leave campus by 8:00 a.m. and return to WSA by 3:30 p.m. \n(Jefferson County) Knowledge Bowl team members:    Arrive in Schoolhouse Building at Fort Worden by 9:15 a.m. We will be finished with the competition by 2:30 p.m. \nAll team members should bring a lunch and a water bottle.

DESCRIPTION:There are two on-campus workshops planned for Project Days to help WSA Juniors with planning\, researching\, and writing their IB Extended Essays or Senior Essays (for those students not submitting Extended Essays to IB). \nWhat: Workshop required for all juniors\, regardless of IB submission plans\nWhen: February 7 and March 14 (both Fridays)\nWhen: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM\nWhere: Conference Room in Baker Hall \nJuniors should bring their laptops to these workshops. Students who like taking notes on research and/or your reading on paper should also bring a journal or composition book. Juniors will be doing research on both days\, and so will want to record their thoughts and ideas either in a digital format or on paper.

WSA’s Class of 2025 has been able to use the site’s exceptional features and tools.
