Renata Durst

Renata is a national board-certified science teacher and has been teaching for a long time now. She is new this year to WSA, 2024, but is not new to the IB middle years program. The classes she is teaching are physical health and wellness, math, and a science elective called medical biology. Most of her teaching experience has been in the biological sciences although she has briefly taught geology, chemistry, and physics. Renata has a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor and a Master in Teaching. Her passion is scientific inquiry and discovering something that has never been discovered before and that includes watching students discover themselves in this big global world as they learn anything and everything, she hopes she can do that for you!
