Summer Program 2021
Summer Programs for 2020 were cancelled. Please read on to find out about our plans for Summer 2021.
WSA offers on-sight concentrated summer classes for high school credit in multi-disciplinary courses at an affordable rate. These courses are open to both currently enrolled WSA students and students enrolled in other regional schools or homeschool programs. Occasionally, middle school specific courses are also offered.
Each high school course is based in two subject areas which allows the student to earn credit in either subject. The courses are concentrated over three weeks meeting four hours per day. The content is steeped in project-based learning with the objective of meeting specific outcomes and demonstrating achievement on a variety of assessments. As a college-preparatory school, students should expect to be challenged academically but also practice development of 21st century skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, communication and knowledge construction.
The 2021 catalog and schedule of summer courses will be released by March 2021. Summer courses typically are scheduled between July 1 and August 15.
