International Baccalaureate (IB) Information Night for Students in Grades 6-10 and Parents
As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we are part of a global community dedicated to providing a transformative education that empowers learners with the essential knowledge, values, attitudes, and skills to become influential agents of peace within their communities.
Receiving an IB education is a powerful opportunity for students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners. In this area, this opportunity is only available at West Sound Academy.
We would like to invite you to learn more about the experience and benefits of being an IB student at an IB school by attending our information session on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. Come learn all about what a wonderful opportunity IB is for students!
Gretchen Nordleaf, IB Coordinator, will go over the benefits of the IB program as well as outline what that program looks like at West Sound. Catherine Freeman, Head of School, and Cari Crane, IB Teacher and Dean of Students, will be available to help answer questions about the value and experience.
