Before or during the application process, we encourage families to experience WSA and begin getting to know our community.
Families can schedule a campus visit, attend an admissions event, or connect directly with our admissions team. Prospective students may also have the opportunity to spend a school day with us through a Student Shadow Day.

Depending on the student and where a family is in the admissions process, getting to know one another may include a Student Shadow Day or a conversation with a member of our admissions team. These experiences give us an opportunity to learn more about your student while helping your family determine whether WSA feels like the right fit.

When you're ready, complete the online application for your student. You'll share basic information about your student and family and tell us more about your student's interests, experiences, and educational journey.

You don't need to have every supporting document ready before you begin.

Once you begin your application, the admissions portal will guide you through the required materials and allow you to track your progress.

Application materials include:

• Student application
• Parent/guardian information
• School records
• Teacher recommendations
• Any additional grade-specific materials
• An application is considered complete once all required materials have been received.

Once an application is complete, our admissions team reviews the full application to consider whether West Sound Academy's program and community are a good match for the student.

We consider the whole student, including their academic experience, interests, readiness to engage in our program, and potential to contribute to and thrive within the WSA community.

Families who complete the admissions process by the priority deadline receive their admission decision during our priority decision period. After that period, completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as space is available.

Students offered admission receive an enrollment agreement and instructions for securing their place at WSA.

Once enrollment is complete, we'll begin helping your family prepare for the transition to West Sound Academy. New students and families receive information about orientation, courses and electives, technology requirements, and other back-to-school details, along with opportunities to begin making connections before the first day of school.
