Faculty and Leadership

One of the things I have learned during my years at West Sound Academy is that remarkable things happen when young people are surrounded by adults who genuinely know them and believe in what they can become.

My connection to WSA began long before I became Head of School. My father was a member of the school's original faculty, and I spent more than a decade teaching math and chemistry here before moving into school leadership. Across those years, I have watched students discover interests they didn't know they had, find confidence in their own ideas, take risks, change direction, and surprise themselves.

That is possible because of the people you will meet on this page. Our faculty bring deep expertise to their disciplines, but they also bring curiosity, creativity, humor, and a genuine commitment to young people. They understand that great teaching begins with relationships and that every student brings something different to the classroom.

It is a privilege to lead this community and to work alongside educators who care so deeply about both who our students are today and who they are becoming.
