Ashley McWilliams
College Counselor and Administrative Assistant
As a new resident in Poulsbo, Ashley is excited to be joining West Sound Academy. Prior to moving to Washington, she worked as a college counselor in private and IB schools in the Bay Area in California. Additionally, she has experience on the other side of the desk as an admissions officer at a liberal arts college on the East Coast, and as an application reader for undergraduate admissions at Stanford University.
She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Gordon College in Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. One of her favorite aspects of college counseling is helping students discover their own narrative and then learn how to effectively share that story with universities in an authentic way.
