Mercedes Gurrola

Mercedes and her family moved to this area a year ago from Mexico. Mercedes has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an Educational Certificate in Project Management in Mexico. Her studies included teaching techniques for different learning styles. Since moving to Washington Mercedes has been working as a paraeducator at Armin Jahr Elementary School, which is a bi-lingual school in the Bremerton School District. 

She has also been teaching community classes to adults wanting to learn Spanish. As a language learner herself, Mercedes is excited to share what she has learned from that experience with her students.
